Themed Tastings & Classes

This session will develop your ability to recognize various aspects of wines as they originate from the Natural winemaking process, with a focus on pairs of wines that demonstrate a specific characteristic, and decisions by the winemaker, in natural wines. Gain insight into the choice to use or omit sulfite & why; identification of oak influence; characteristics that originate from Clay Amphora versus Concrete Tanks; the use of indigenous varietals as opposed to Commercially dominant international grapes; skin contact and extraction; and dialogue about what Arterra is exploring being in a New World region while exploring the relationship of ancient and minimalist techniques. These curated wines are of exceptional quality and are for sale as a ‘Try & Buy – Stock your Cellar’ event.

Cost is only to cover the wines being poured for tasting: $45.00 per person.
