These limited production wines will be available to club-only, and will only be opened for tastings during the 3-week release period, (Thursday-Monday Sept. 3-7, 10-14, 17-21) after which their remaining inventory will shift to availability only by the bottle – so get in during release for your opportunity to try them and take advantage of your house club membership benefit of Free Tastings During Release Periods. There just isn’t enough of these to keep them on the main menu at this moment in time.

2024 Roussanne, 2024 Blaufrankisch, 2024 Cabernet Franc, 2023 Norton
We have a spectacular Seasonally ideal line-up of wines for the Autumn 2026 Release! Vintage 2024 brought us wines of pronounced character complexity, and we have one last 2023 red in the mix! This assortment captivates with a balance of medium weight and intensity with fresh notes that are perfect as we come off of the summer heat; and also with the earthy rooted depth we look for as we transition into cooler autumn evenings.
2024 Roussanne launches with appropriate cellar aging, serving up texture and elegance, with layering derived from Sur lee aging in neutral oak. This is a classic of the autumn season and a true evolutionary white that elevates with cellaring. Our Roussanne has been on the lighter yield side due to its winter tenderness, so only 25 cases were produced – as such a club only wine.
2024 Blaufränkisch benefitted significantly from vine age, shifting phenology to sturdier grape skins that did not experience the rot incidence which had previously forced earlier harvest dates. Instead, two additional weeks of ripening time on the vine brought the acidity into balance and amplified complexity – while preserving varietal flavor characteristics. This wine will return to the main tasting menu when a slot opens up, but for now it will be offered for tastings only during this release period. This is an impressive Blaufränkisch, very much an elevated expression. 50 cases produced.
2024 Cab Franc – I (Jason) am super excited about this. While many of you know I have not always listed franc as my first choice of varietal – the ways we have aligned franc production really have this rising to the top, and I have to say I love it. With a shift to exclusively Clone 214 – we have a dark and assertive cab franc, that captures great berry expression along with intensity and tannin presence. This cab franc actually stands up right alongside the legendary 2023 vintage. Excellent choices were made and the rewards are evident.
70 cases produced, which is small run of cab franc for us, and we’re reserving it just for club to be able to continue to benefit from aging before releasing any remaining inventory on the main tasting menu.
2023 Norton. A revolution of Arterra Norton! In the past we explored amphora and ancient techniques – which aligned with rustic intrigue. But this vintage launches a new era of Norton that served as initial evidence of the significant benefits of fermenting in our 500 liter neutral oak puncheons. Extraction increases resulting in an overall more impressive wine. The celebration is amplifying all things great about Norton, while also seemingly demonstrating that the aspects of Norton that are often looked down upon are not a necessary component of the expression of this up & coming Virginia grape. With only 22 cases available – this wine is initially limited to 2 bottles per club member, & its possible that allocation may decrease, so waste no time. This is the most exciting expression of Norton we have ever witnessed.
